Most of our cameras have a variety of picture/scene/filter modes, which apply exclusively to in-camera JPEG conversion. I think most photographers pretty much ignore them so I thought it might be interesting to explore some of these to see what we get.

Rules: Just one...  Must take the shot as a JPEG and do all edits in-camera (with the exception of cropping/resizing). I'll start it off with:

Up Periscope: Rough Monochrome Filter... a noisy, high contrast, almost Kodalith paper kind of look.

Nice idea! I will have to start shooting in raw+jpeg for a while and see what I can do. I already use the Picture controls actively to get a better starting point for raw conversions with NX-D, so I won't have to adjust my shooting workflow too much.

I won't clutter this thread up with photos that are already posted in another thread... In Live music 20180206 - Post Your Photos - NikonForums.com, all photos except the one shot @ 20.52.27 are SOOC except for cropping and resizing. The group shots are made with D2X Mode3 active on the D700, the individual shots are with the [PT]Portrait picture control on the D7200. ADL is on @ Normal in both bodies.

An Old Favorite: 4k focus stacking/merge (no, I wasn't going to reset the time - too much of a PITA)
