You don't provide much information from which to answer.  I would suggest that you need some form of computer to store and edit your images, but some may suggest that a phone or tablet can serve that purpose for you.  You will certainly need some form of camera and you suggested Nikon DSLR so we will get back to that in a minute...you will need one or more lenses as well...Lastly you would need the appropriate memory cards for your camera...you may also consider some items you don't "need" like extra batteries, a camera bag of some sort, and other similar items.

The Nikon DSLR and the lens or lenses you purchase should be determined by several things...The first and most important is your budget.  Following that would be the types of photography you want to shoot, if you are shooting for pleasure or hoping to be paid to shoot, and also simple things like comfort or specific features that you find desirable in one body vs. another.

If you can narrow down some of those things, we can certainly make some recommendations for you to look at.  To simplify the current model #s with Nikon, the D3xxx are "entry" level cameras, the D5xxx are "enthusiast" level cameras and the D7xxx are "prosumer" level cameras.  To further generalize the Dxxx (three #s) and Dx (single #) are more designed for professional or semi-professional photographers.

For what it's worth, when I started out with my D3100 I found the Guide mode quite helpful.

It's a "wizard" type assistant, which helps getting the right settings for the type of exposure you want to take.

As a beginner, you get more guidance and help in the user interface with the more beginner-oriented cameras. The more advanced the camera is, the more of the guide tools are left off. The problem is that the better finders, faster continuous shooting and bigger buffers you need for sports and wildlife are found in the more advanced models. With your interests, I would go for a D5xxx rather than a D3xxx model. A D7xxx probably has a steeper learning curve than you would like.

For postprocessing, you need either a good tablet or a relatively modern computer. If you decide to go with a tablet, there are some nice apps, but you will get more response about what software to get if you start a separate thread about that. A computer with, for example, Nikon's free editing software or the Adobe suite for photographers if you use Windows or MacOS works well to start with. There are Linux and BSD applications that work well with the Nikon raw files as well.

A printer can wait, you have to do lots of prints before you break even compared to sending print jobs out.

You can start your journey by buying D5300 body. I had this body in 2015. It's best within low budget
