Tokina 11 to 16mm flare

It isn't easy to provoke it to flare, but when it occurs it looks worse than the Sigma UWA zooms and the newer Tokina 11-20. Both the Tokinas are prone to ghosting if you close the aperture down too far or if you use filters in low light.

Hi nikonian, thanks for the answer.Been offered the tokina 12 to 24mm Nikon fit will probably get that one now, better focal range.

Good samples of the 12-24 were and are good, but the sample variation is large on all the DX lenses Tokina developed together with Pentax.
