Hi everyone,

So my question is: I have a Nikon D5200 and an old 35mm Pentax MZ6, I want to use the Pentax camera lense on my D5200 and i also have a Vivitar macro focusing zoom lense which I want to attached to my D5200. I need to know the right adapter to for the Pentax lense and the Vivitar lense, I really want to experience the glass of old lenses and compare new lenses.
Hope someone can help me with this, ( the Pentax lense is auto focusing and the Vivitar is manual focusing)

I will attach some pictures so you have an idea of the lenses!

Thank you hope to hear from you soon.

Have a look f.i. here

You may also google for “lensadapter pentax to nikon” to find a number of solutions.

I would recommend to use an adapter with a corrective lens for infinity focussing.

However, so far I haven’t found an adapter that allows for the electric contacts to be connected, so when using an adapter expect to work in full manual mode. (So lenses without an aperture ring won’t work, but I seethst both of the lenses shown here allow for manually setting the aperture)

The Vivitar looks to be in Minolta MD mount. This means that you need an adapter with even more glass in it as the register distance is shorter than both Nikon and Pentax mount. Fotodiox make adapters for both mounts. Here is a link to the M/MD version. https://www.bhphotov...mount_lens.html
