Hi, I have 2 Nikon D7000, a D750 and a plethora of lenses but the reason I joined the forum was to hopefully get advice on how to get my fathers F5 working. He bought it new when it first came out but it has lain unused in the cupboard since 2006. The camera will not turn on, the battery holder contacts have been checked, new batteries installed and the output voltage measures correctly but still the camera fails to power up. I would appreciate any help to get this great camera working once again.
