Just purchase a D750 about a month ago (Oct 2017). I checked the S/n on the Nikon web site and it wasn't listed as having the shutter issue. But it does. Just contacted Nikon and waiting on reply. Very very very disappointing.

Too bad that it still isn't solved in production... It seems like the replacement units are better made, though, as the fault doesn't recur.

We have about 650 D750's on site where I work.  In the beginning we had some issues and the service advisory came out.  Nikon took care of all of them just fine and the problem hasn't come back unless there was damage due to Impact during use.

You are answering a very old thread. We were not long outside the time window for affected cameras when it was started.
