I’ve been noticing recently on my D5500 that when I shoot during sunrises and sunset im seeing these weird verticle lines when I edit the photos. Any one else have this happen or could possibly tell me what im doing wrong?

Post an example photo with exif data intact. I've got an idea on what it looks like but I don't really understand what causes it though. Someone here with better knowledge than me would tell you if you posted an example for them to see.

I added a photo to my original post. I’ve used 2 different kinds of editing software and those lines show up on both. You kind of have to zoom in a bit to see them but i have no idea what’s causing this to happen. When i spoke to nikon they didn’t seem to know either.

Fixed Pattern Noise maybe? If it is, Nikon can fix it (according to the link). Send it in to Nikon along with a couple RAW and JPEG files that show the vertical lines.

Thank you for sharing that link! Im glad im not the only one with this issue. The camera is only 7 months old. I sent it off to nikon yesterday so hopefully it’s a quick fix. Apparently these lines have been in my low light photos since i got the camera but i didn’t notice until now as the problem seems to have gotten worse.
