Well, I am going to post some images in the one week, one camera, one lens section after the week is up. I'm pretty happy with several of those images and hope to have some more over the next couple of days...
This shot was with a different camera and lens - specifically my iPhone...I've been pretty good at keeping my camera with me on my wanderings, but failed the one time I should have remembered...
Monday was a pretty busy and stressful day at work. After I wrapped up work my wife suggested we go out for a short ride on the boat. Temps were in the 70s (F) and it was supposed to rain and get colder later in the week. So, we headed down to the boat and went out. Of course, we were after the time change, so we knew it was going to get dark early...I turned the corner onto Broad Creek in time for my wife to grab a few phone pix as the sun dropped over the horizon.
We then turned east for a few miles enjoying the water, watching the birds and relaxing. When we turned around the sun had lit up the clouds in a most spectacular way...we slowed to idle speed and spent the next 15 minutes watching one of the most beautiful sunsets (without the sun which had gone down earlier) that I have ever seen. I honestly can't decide which of the photos that I took on my phone is my favorite, but I picked this one to share today. It is straight out of phone with no crops or edits...
I will definitely have to go through these and try to choose a few...I don't think they will need much editing...maybe a slight horizon fix though!
