looking for software that will teher my D3400 for Live review only.  If it has additional capabilities so be it...just need Live Review right now.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Jeff

I use a Camranger for this purpose. It has a small WiFi router that attaches to your camera via USB. Files can be viewed on a PC, Laptop, tablet or phone (or all at once). Works flawlessly but is not a free option.

I have seen cheaper versions, but they also come with complaints of that software not working consistently unlike the Camranger system.

The camranger was just a badged TP-Link MR3400 router with bespoke firmware.

I'm a cheapskate, I flashed the OpentWRT firmware myself! A 3D printed hotshoe bracket holds it all together.
