I just upgraded my Nikon D40 to the Nikon D3400.  I  have the following lenses and want to know which are best for my trip to Italy. 

• AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G Lens
• AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR
• AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-200MM f/4-5.6G ED VR

Anything that I should consider?

Can you take all of them?  Each fills a unique role: everyday shooting for the 18-55mm, tele shots for the 55-200mm, and high quality/low-light for the 35mm.

 

If you can only pick one, then the 18-55 would probably make the most sense as it covers the most common focal lengths.

I went last year and I used my f/2.8 17-55mm the most.  That would be my 1st choice.  You will need the f/1.8 35mm for indoor use.  You really should try to bring all of them.

Good Decision. You will need them.

take all three since you find one will fit where other does not. but you have be patient or have patient person with you. since might have to change lens and all your 1/200 f stop and iso do each lens need to be change and when your at new place might need to adjust them again too.
