I'm looking into buying the Nikon D5600 but I have heard rumors of a new model coming in the D5xxx series. I'm going on a trip next month and I'd like to have a new camera. If a new model is coming within the next couple months I can wait. What's your oppinion?

If you wait for the "next thing" you may never get anything.  I had a friend who kept waiting for "the next" PC...all the way from the first PC clones and 10 years past he was still waiting...We lost track of each other before he had actually bought a computer.  There will always be a new model coming down the road.

What is it that the current bodies don't have that this new one MIGHT have?  Pick the body that fits you and your needs / budget the best and the lens or lenses you want and start taking photos!

While you are waiting you might be missing some photo opportunities and are not getting used to your equipment.

Any DSLR made in last 10 years is probably going to offer you more than you need to be honest. Practice is much more important.
