My combination for this week will be the D700 and AF DC Nikkor 105mm F2D - Nikkor F-Mount Lenses - Nikon Lens Database - Lens Database - NikonForums.com

If anyone else wants to shoot any single lens with me for a week, feel free to post what you get in this thread.

Using normal lenses for a month has been good for learning to see in that focal length but I need to relax with my old favourites for a while now...

I'm in again Peter.  this week I will go back to my Sony A6000 with the 16-50 lens.

I encourage more of our fellow Nikonites to join in.  I have learned, by Peters urging, to get out and shoot more, but more importantly, this has opened my eyes to all that is around me.  What i thought was mundane/boring, can be made interesting by simply using composition and angles.  It's a worthwhile project .  We are seeing through the camera lens where Peter and i live, our daily surroundings.  Bart, with his weekly walks through Belgium and France gives us the same view of his life and surroundings.  I will get to Belgium one day to visit my grandson who lives in Brugge, I expect to search out Barts surroundings.

One photo a day for a week.  I usually do two or three a day as I am out and about so may as well play with the camera.  Being retired helps, no doubt.

My next series in Downtown Phoenix.  Taking a hint from Peter from last week, this series has minimal if any post processing.

The cycling mural took some work as It was at such an angle to the sidewalk. three stories up.

Snapping the snappers, i caught a couple taking photos of the walkway at Chase Field.

Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team.

The last three were taken at Desert Botanical Garden.

Shots from last Saturday's ride around post-Harvey Houston. Art work shot at Smither Park. Local artists are constantly adding to it, great place. Stainless entry way at McGovern Centennial Gardens in Hermann Park. All with D5500 and Nikkor 18-55mm.
