resfresh problem with Godox E250 Flash Strobe and nikon d50

Hi,

 

I have setup a Nikon D50 with a Godox E250 Flash Strobe. When I put my Nikon in burst mode my first rig worked completely fine when the Godox was set to 1.8.

 

I now have another setup, again, using another D50 and the same make and model flash, but I can only get the refresh to work when set to 1.1 or 1.2. When I take a continuous shot of three, it will occasionally miss a flash resulting in a darker image.

 

 Is there a setting on the Nikon camera that controls the flash that I don't know about?

 

I cannot understand why exactly the same models for each would generate drastically different results.

 

Any help would be appreciated.
