Good afternoon,

I have a question on camera selection? I am not new to photography. I have many years under my belt in Wedding and Photojournalism. But here is my situation. I was shooting a D800 for weddings and s D2X as a backup. I came into some health issues. I has left me with some severe balance issues. No longer being able to do the run and gun style of photography needed for Weddings I stopped shooting. Having a difficult time hand holding the and getting a decent sharp image, I sold it. Big mistake. The D2X is a great camera but old technology. No live view, no video ect. I have a pelican bag full of equipment and its sitting going to waste. I would like to put a video blog together and start using my redrock rig again. So I need good video. Most of the things I shoot are on tripod for landscapes and nature shots. But would also like to start shooting birds again. Any suggestions? I have a decent budget.

Thanks,

Larry

Looks like you might be a good candidate for Nikon's latest DSLR. The D850. It was just announced today and hasn't been released but it should be available in a month or so.
