My first post on this forum after lurking for some time!
I us a D7200 and I have an occasional requirement for an ultrawide/wide zoom, mainly for landscapes and interiors. A few months ago I bought a Sigma 10-20 f3.5 EX lens and have been generally happy with it. However Nikon have now brought out the 10-20 f4.5-5.6 AF-P and I'm tempted. The main advantage I can see is lightness of weight, as I do a lot of photography when out walking and when travelling. Obviously disadvantages are that it's a slower lens and is variable aperture, but I could probably live with this given that the Nikon has VR and the Sigma doesn't. Compatibility is another possible issue but as far as I understand it with the D7200 the only problem would be to not be able to switch off VR, which again I could probably live with.
Has anyone got experience of using both lenses? How does the IQ compare? There don't seem to be many reviews of the Nikon out there at the moment.
