Hi - I've been the owner of a P900 for about a week, replacing an older superzoom bridge camera from a different manufacturer. So far, I'm impressed. In the past, I've shot almost exclusively in Aperture priority mode, with manual ISO settings, etc. I've never been a fan of letting the camera have control, but I must admit I'm impressed with auto ISO and some of the scene settings.

There's one feature I used frequently in the past but cannot find on the P900. I hope I'm just missing it. My previous camera called it an AE lock, or exposure lock. It allowed me to focus on one location to obtain the preferred exposure, then lock that exposure setting and re-focus on the desired photo without changing the exposure setting. I'm afraid that's not the greatest description, but the best I can do. Does anyone know if the P900 has that capability?

Thanks for your help.
