A plaque I found in a car boot sale (US="Swap meet") today.

Ignoring the slightly dodgy use of photographic terms, it occurs to me that we're already living in a world where a large percentage of photographers have no idea what a negative is...

OTOH, with the hipsters' fascination with Lomography and Holgas there might be more than we think. I don't quite understand those movements but it helps keep film production alive. I would much rather use an old Zeiss folder that doesn't need vinyl tape to keep the light out...

There will always be some minority interest, and the whole Lomography thing is doing a lot to keep film going - I don't understand it either, all I know is that I can sell any weird crappy plastic camera that has the Lomography logo on it, or looks like it should have, and probably make a profit... if I had a time machine and a limited supply of period cash I think the easiest way to get more would be to go back to the 1960s and buy a few dozen Diana toy cameras and sell them in the present day, use the profits to buy more old currency, etc.. MUCH more profitable than Leicas, I think.
