Trying to upload two images at around 200kb but keep getting this message
Now my limit is at 12.18kb

How many files have you uploaded as attachments? There is a very limited space for attachments for each user. I don't remember how small it is, but it is on the small side. You probably have more room in your gallery space. Adam has a sticky up about the different ways of showing photos here. I don't know if that is the trouble as I am not an admin, but Adam will help you out if you shoot him a PM.
