Hello, I have a Nikon D5300 old camera with AF-S 18-55mm lens. It was bought in January 2014. Now I want to buy new AF-P 18-55mm lens. Is it compatible with my camera?

AFAIK yes, the autofocus is still compatible as the D5300 is fairly recent.  Other supported models are the D3300 and D5500.

From the leaflet supplied with one of the AF-P lenses:

This lens does not support D4-series, D3-series, D2-series, D1-series, D800-
series, D700, D610, D600, D300-series, D200, D100, D90, D80, D70-series,
D60, D50, D40-series, D7000, D5100, D5000, D3200, D3100 or D3000 digital
SLR cameras or film SLR cameras. When using it with a D5500, D5300, or
D3300, be sure the camera firmware has been updated to the latest version.

This means that it will work on your D5300 if you have updated to the latest firmware.
