Hello

Need some help.

Does anyone have a technical manual for this lens ?

Not the user manual, but the technical manual. I have one and need to clean it so an tech manual would be great.

Thanks

I suppose I am not alone in having cleaned out documentation for not very good pre-D-chip AF lenses a long time ago.

NO One ?

Nikon Forum and no one has this document.

Very VERY disappointing...

:-(

This is a good and cheap, very cheap lens.

Not the most sharp, but making sharp photos is not my priority. Making good photos is my priority.

Still learning to do "good photos" ... :-)

Have you checked Nikon's site?  Nikon also has a manual viewer for phones / pads where you can download various manuals.  There is a Nikon Lens app (don't recall who created it) that provides some info on lenses...

Then I would suggest a call to Nikon as a good next step...or check with some local shops that may do repairs?

I have contact Nikon.

I got a polite "NO".

I guess they want to protect their repair business. This lens just need some care to be opened and cleaned. No special machinery for tuning the focus or so ...

Bad Nikon. Very Bad.

I hope I may get it some day !!! I will continue to try.

Carlos

Richard Haw has a post up about dismantling the 80-200/4, which is a similar vintage as your 35-135.

No... sorry for saying. But they are different. Very different.

Richard was kind enough so send me a "coupe" of pictures ( I will not post them because they are not mine ) and the lens are different inside.

Anyway... thanks for trying to help. I did appreciate.

Have a nice day and GREAT photos !
