My combination for this week will be the D300 and AF-S Nikkor 24/1.8G ED.

If anyone else wants to shoot any single lens with me for a week, feel free to post what you get in this thread.

I hope for a week with less dull light and/or rain than the last two we've had.

I love the sun stars in the water.

Beautiful pictures! I have a lens just like that, but never tried it on buildings. I like it.

We enjoyed a short holiday trip to Durango, CO., spending two nights at the La Posada Hotel, Winslow, AZ, on Rt 66.  This hotel was a Harvey House hotel in the 1940's-50's.  It has been refurbished to look like it was during that era. Also, Winslow is a switching yard for the BNSF railroad which is directly behind the hotel.  If you like trains, this is the place to be.

D750, Tokina 17-35 lens, all shots in M mode.  Still learning the best way to use this wide angle lens,

1) 1/250 @ f 13, iso 200, 35mm

2) 1/320 @ f 8.0, iso 200, 34mm

3) 1/80 @ f4.5, iso auto 640, 35mm

4) 1/250 @f 5.0, iso 80, 17mm, -1 EV

5) 1/250 @f9.0, iso 100, 35mm
