Hey guys, so sometimes when I am looking through my images on my PC, one image will be 25mb and the other will be 13 or so mb, though neither are cropped and both taken with the exact same equipment. Why is this?

Because, depending on the image, the compression is either more or less effective.

Technically, no. But you may use software to compress your jpegs to a greater extent that "might" not be noticeable to you.

Just know that you will be losing information even though the visible difference may be subtle.

Yeah, just a lot of places don't allow you to post a file over 20 or 25mb

I use a Mac app called Acorn when exporting images for the web. I like it because it offers a very fast preview of what the exported image will look like prior to the export.
