My biggest moneymaker is the Nikkor-O Ai'd 35/2, but my favourites to use are the 105DC and the MicroNikkor 105/4 Ai'd.

No doubt about it, my favourite lens is a fast 50. Always has been, probably always will be. I've had some beauties over the years.  Currently it's an AF-S Nikkor 50mm f1.4 G. I aspire to an AF-S Nikkor 58mm f1.4 G N (which I consider to be an honorary 50mm!)

i like to use my tamron basic 70-300. but hate the fact hard to tell if pictures at full zoom are not great quality. i will look at pictures on camera screen looks perfect 10 but when get home and look on computer at full zoom and you see another picture all together. i like my 18-55mm second but reach sucks.

My all time favorite is the:  Nikkon AFZoom Nikkor 28~105mm, F/3.5~4.5D IF Lens.  Very sharp all the way through, very good build quality of metal and excellent glass.  Never in six years have I encountered any issues with it.

Thanks for reading.

Easily my Tamron 90mm VC F017.  Far and away my most used lens.

I have to admit that I have been and still am impressed with the results of third party lenses.  Sigma, Tamron, Samyang and Tokina certainly have had to scratch and claw their way to their current status.  Prices certainly are reasonable for the wonderful images they generate.  These entities continue doing their homework and it shouldn't be too much longer before they begin to pose a serious threat to the big boys.  Thanks for reading. This is a really difficult question for me... simply because a lot depends on what I'm shooting.  I don't have a lens that stays on my cameras although the Nikkor AF-S 18-35G has been seeing a lot of use lately. Incredible lens for the money!

Tamron AF XR 28-300 1:3.5-6.3 macro

By far the one I use the most, it works well and has never given me any problems. Down side, a little on the heavy side and not the best for low light conditions.

After that, in the order of most to least used

Nikon 18-55 VR

500mm f8 (cheapo manual drainpipe type, not a mirror lens)

Nikon 35mm f2 g

12mm lensbaby (the type that gave a round image on 35mm, not full frame)

I'm probably going to sell the Lensbaby soon, it's been fun to play with but it's not really very useful.

And as if by magic eBay are only charging me a maximum £1 seller's fee for anything I list this weekend, so I just listed the Lensbaby - link in the classified section.

I suppose my mistress is my 70-200 f2.8 Nikkor but my wife is my 50mm f 1.4 Nikkor. The former is a bit hard to handle (heavy) but oh, so sweet. The latter just keeps on truckin' without any problems.

My most used and loved lens is my Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 VC. I'd love to update it to the new G2 version. I keep tagging Tamron in all my social media posts but they haven't sent me one yet lol  :D

My favorite lens is my least expensive lens. $200 DX 35 mm f/1.8. My most fun lens for my D500 is the 200 to 500 f/5.6.

I would say the  Samyang 14mm F2.8, although, as said in my presentation post, the lack of AF is now causing me trouble (kids are not always easy to follow).

So, now, probably the 35mm f1.4, despite its weight.
