I have recently purchased a B700 to update my L120 and am having issues with the battery going completely flat in 24 hours, even with the camera turned off.
It has taken a while to identify the issue - I kept on thinking I had done something wrong. Each time it takes the stated 3 hours to recharge the battery. When I recharged and checked the battery and then removed it from the camera, a week later it was still fully charged.
Turning the camera off and leaving the battery in the B700 the battery was completely exhausted 24 hours later. I have turned off the Wi-Fi and need to turn off the GPS but surely the battery should not go completely flat with the camera turned off.
My PC will also not see the camera with either the Nikon View NX 2 or with file explorer. My PC reads my old L120 and my video camera no problem.
Experience tells me that it's probably something I have done in the set up - or a faulty camera. Any advice or suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
