Sometime before midnight (whatever time zone you are in) this Sunday, 21 May 2017, post the best photo you have taken this week. Any subject, any style—just give us your best shot.

If you can, list your EXIF info and any special lighting setups you may have used.

P.S. The editing exercises are taking a break for the summer, but feel free to play around in the old exercises.

P.P.S. Peter is running a fun single lens challenge that we are all invited to participate in.

Love the image, Jerry! Did you have the D90 converted to IR or are you just using the IR filter?

Ron, as I was interested in IR, but my last experiences dated back more than 20 years when still using film, so I bought an already converted D90 for IR on eBay. I am very happy with what I got as camera, even so it means to take sometimes an extra camerabody with you.

I had been looking into filters, but thought that the then required long exposures did not allow me to take the captures I wanted to have (and be it only the move of the leafs when taking the capture of a tree).

I've always had a soft spot for IR even though developing IR film could sometimes give me nightmares. And, I developed both Kodak HIE and Ektachrome IR film. Your D90IR gives that same HIE look that I so loved. I might look into having my D7000 converted once I get a new DX camera.
