I have a D3400, well cared for. Never dropped or bumped. Went to check battery status before using it today and it wouldn't turn on at all. Battery had recently been charged. I charged the battery just to make sure and the camera is still dead. Any ideas?

Make sure camera is turned off.

Pull out the battery.

Pull out memory card

Put the camera in Manual Mode.

Put the battery back in.

Go to the Menu

Hit the Wrench Tool

Reset all the settings you can find.

That did the job for me.

I put the memory card back in & was on my way.

My first shoot after had no problems like my previous few.

Well see how it holds up!

I was getting the lens error.

Took out the battery and it never turned on again.
