Hi all, just moved up from a D3200 to the D5600, I'm fairly new to photography but at the same time a little bit nerdy and I can usually figure problems out but this one has me stumped...

...I have tried connecting SnapBridge to my Samsung Galaxy S7 but it fails constantly, I've read somewhere that it's a known issue when running Nougat, not ideal but I guess I'll have to wait for Nikon to sort that, anyway I paired it with my iPad and it works without issue, once paired the camera will create a WiFi connection to facilitate remote shooting etc... SnapBridge is very basic though and unsuitable for my needs.

I have found that qDSLRdashboard will give me all the control I need so I downloaded it, plugged the camera in via USB and it's fine, works a charm, I try to connect it via WiFi and this is where I get confused, I cannot enable the WiFi on the camera... Instruction I've found say 'go to the settings, switch WiFi on blah blah blah, but on my camera there is no way to switch WiFi on in the menu, I have removed the iOS pairing and Bluetooth pairing to make sure it's not that.

The only way I can find to switch WiFi on is to start the pairing with SnapBridge and then it will show the WiFi SSID on my phone and I can connect it to qDSLRdashboard but this is very convoluted.

How do I enable WiFi?

Thanks.
