Folks,

i dropped my camera on the shoe and cracked the flash weld,

i have received a replacement top etc and now i have been attempting to fit it,

im currently stuck trying to get the flash spring back in, can anyone assist ?

ive been on youtube but cant find anything solid, there is also hook which is meant to keep the flash down but it doesnt seem to hold it, not sure why.

I just recently fixed the flash on mine (D70) and maybe they are similar. I had a bugger of a time trying to figure out how to get that spring back in the correct way, But luckily I noticed one on this tutorial. Hope it helps!
