I've tried multiple times now to connect by D3400 with my Galaxy S7 without success, has anyone else been having these same issues?

I note that the google play store is full of comments to the same effect however I thought rather than listening to people just whinging it might be better to ask the question here and see if either there is a fix/work around or if anyone knows when it will be compatible?

I'm considering the D7500 when it comes out, but I've heard Snapbridge has been behaving badly since the Android Nougat (Android 7.0) -- pairing isn't happening. People seem to be blaming the app, or the phone (mostly Samsung S7 Edge), but it really seems like the problem appeared upon the upgrade to Nougat. Does anybody have an update or news about wither Nikon working with Android/Google to address this, or (even better, since there's all sorts of problems with Nougat) Google releasing a fix to Nougat's numerous problems in general.

Following this thread.

Following this thread. I am considering the D7500 when it comes out, and I have a Galaxy S7. I have noticed other issues with the latest Nougat update: and the complaints about SnapBridge pretty much begin round about the time Nougat was released, so I suspect it's an issue between Nougat (Android v7.0) and SnapBridge. (Nougat is riddled with issues.... )
