My combination for this week will be the D300 and Nikkor 80-200/4.5 Ai'd. My sample of this classic zoom is a •C version made in 1973.

If anyone else wants to shoot any single lens with me for a week, feel free to post what you get in this thread.

This'll be interesting, was looking at one of those on eBay only last night - my eternal quest for a cheap lens to take pics of the dogs, both on the beach and the race track.

I'll probably stick with the D610 and AF-S 50/1.4 G. Again. Well, it's my favourite!

I already used the lens the week ending March 12, but on FX. A hood transforms the lens as the bite it has gets obscured by flare far too often without one. As the original hoods are unobtanium, a HN-23 and a 52>62 step-up ring is a good substitute. An LC-62 fits inside the hood as a lens cap, just like for the 85/1.8D as it is the same hood.

A Volvo in Sweden, how unique.  We just traded ours in for a Subaru.  May be a mistake, time will tell.

I'll start today's post with a handheld multi-row stitched panorama of 42 frames.gallery_1251_654_353088.jpg

Next is a series of a statue of queen Victoria's gardener Nestor, called the happy gardener.                                        gallery_1251_654_55775.jpg

The rest of the post is from a walk from Nestor's park bench down toward the river.                                                        gallery_1251_654_101582.jpg

Work, today. Well, broadly speaking, for the last 42 years actually...

Dog walk at Rinsey, this morning. Took loads of pics but used two other lenses too - so not eligible for this!)

Taken last night, around 7pm.  Nikon D5500 with a Gemini 28mm f/2.8 Pentax K mount lens on a Fotodiox Pro Lens adapter.

These next three were taken on the 15th, while exploring an old rundown property for sale nearby.

I had some difficulty getting this moss to be in focus, due to the difficulty of capturing the image.  I had to hold my camera above my head, and could hardly see the screen with the sun in my eyes.
