Nikon D850 DSLR camera to be announced soon - Daily Camera News

The first rumors about the new D850 began to emerge. According to leaked information, the Nikon D810 DSLR camera will no longer be in production by 2017. At the moment, when we look at the Nikon D810 body-only sales price is around $2,797 at Amazon with $200 saving.

Currently the Nikon FX lineup consists of D6XX, D7XX, D8XX and the flagship D5 models. There are also several rumors that the Nikon D760 will both replace the D750 and D610. We think that Nikon will first update the more budget-friendly models and leave the megapixel monster behind.

The next-gen D8xx DSLR previously mentioned for 2016 launch in order to maintain the two-year refresh cycle. The rumor mill were in talks for a D820 name. You can find the first talks of the previous rumored specs of that camera below.

Nikon D820 / D850 rumored specs
  • 54MP full-frame sensor made by Sony
  • 96 Auto Focus Points
  • Low ISO sensitivity starting from 32
  • 4K Video Recording
  • New AF-S 16-35mm f/4 or f/2.8 Lens coming after D850

CP+ 2017 is opening its doors in the second part of February. There is still time but we do not believe that the Nikon D850 DSLR camera is coming at this show. Stay tuned with us for more information.

Nikon has announced the products for the 100th anniversary which they call commemorative models in their news post

Probably this is interesting for some collectors, but unfortunately no new models in.

Honestly stopped caring about the 'lower ISO', base ISO would be nice to have lower though.. :)

But the "crap focus system" of D800/D800E/D810 really needs to be improved... If it has D5/D500 speed and accuracy, I will have a hard time not ordering one ;)

But NIKON is halfway dead, sadly... Seems we will have to accept what we have now, and enjoy glass from SIGMA, TAMRON and others that has progressive developement..
