I am not sure, but I think Snapbridge can't handle raw files, so you will need a card reader for the phone to transfer the raw files.

I don't know if you need a raw-capable app on an Android phone. My knowledge of Android is less than what I know about Coolpixes, and my latest Coolpix was a 5700 14 years ago.

See if you can transfer JPG files with either Snapbridge or card reader...I'm guessing the Andriod doesn't support the RAW files, but I don't know Andriods...

I doubt it will be able to read a raw file. JPEG no problem!

You have to have a recent Android phone or tablet and at least Android 5 in order to use RAW files (using the Adobe DNG specification). My understanding is that not all phones support this yet.

However, you might want to give Adobe Lightroom a try. Again, you must be using Android 5 or above but Lightroom does handle RAW files. Unfortunately, for me... the Android pad I have will only run Android 4.2.1 so I'm not able to handle RAW files on it.
