i want to know which is best lens for sharpness and fast focus between Nikon 80/400 and 200/500

What body do you have?

The 80-400 works really well on the small pro bodies (D300(s), D500, D8x0) with a large battery in the grip, but it is a trifle slow compared to the 200-500 on the prosumer-class bodies or a non-gripped pro body. They are about equal for sharpness and contrast.
