My combination for this week will be the D700 and Ai 180/2.8

If anyone else wants to shoot any single focal length with me for a week, feel free to post what you get in this thread.

Today felt like spring, even if it is only January.

This lens has always been a favourite, even if the later ED version is less prone to flare and the AF version is much more convenient. This could be because it was the first pro-calibre Nikkor I bought or it could be because of it's character, I don't know which.

Nikon D610, Nikkor 28mm AF, f/2.8. These were taken at a friend's retirement party this weekend. Trying to do some low light photos. I used ISO 6400 and shutter speed 1/100 in shutter priority mode. That is my preferred MO for general photography most of the time.

I love the sculptures. The Venus of Willendorf is my favorite!

The light was dismal the last days of this week. I will probably do something with some version of the 180 at a later date.
