I am currently having an issue with my D750. An arc/stripe has recently started appearing across the right hand side of all my photos. Its more noticeable in the darker shots. I also have a problem where the shutter jams when I try to take the first shot after powering up the camera and I get an "ERR' message. When I click the shutter again its seems to clear. I get the feeling they're both connected.

After some research I see that more people are having the same problem and I know I should send it in for repair. However I'm country hopping around Asia and Europe at the moment so the logistics of sending it in for repair is a nightmare. Can anybody suggest something that might help in the meantime. Traveling around without my camera sucks!

Thanks in advance

Yeah the D750 had a recall or two for shutter problems, obviously that's your best solution if it applies to your serial number. Other than that - tried a different SD card?

I know nothing about your err message.

Perhaps you can find a used Nikon DSLR at a local shop that you could purchase, use for your trip, then resell after your body is repaired.

Another alternative would be to rent - there are several options to choose from there - perhaps local as well or some place online like BorrowLenses.

Good luck!
