Hi all,

Wondering if anyone can advise. I have two D5500's that I use for both still photography and video. I've recently bought two HDMI to USB dongles to allow me to record directly to computer.

Issue - One camera will continue operating in live view mode when plugged into HDMI until the battery runs out........which is perfect. BUT....the second camera will auto shutdown after the standard auto shutdown timer reaches it's preset time (in this case 10 minutes).

Both cameras are running the same firmware version - 1.01 - and all the settings appear to be the same so I can't for the life of me work out why one will correclty function with continuous vision via HDMI and one will only last for the time limit of the auto shutdown.

Any ideas?
