will this work on my d5300 camera. if so what do need to do make work right with out break lens or camera

It will work. It's a manual focus lens so no worries about incompatibilities.

It will not only work, it will even work extremely well as the lens is chipped so it gives exposure meter readouts on the D5300.

It will not only work, it will even work extremely well as the lens is chipped so it gives exposure meter readouts on the D5300.

 

And focus confirmation too? I know my 135mm Samyang/Rokinon does.
