I found it same.  to fix by go to setting Bluetooth on device.   And select forgot paired device.  and re-pair again.

Well, persistence pays off I guess, after several attempts and failures, I thought I'd try again after taking the iPhone out of its case and kept up the "forget this item" in the phone menu for bluetooth for a couple more times and *boom* it finally worked! This, after about 40 attempts and one drained battery... could the bluetooth signal have been weakened by an Otter case? who knows?

Anyway, now that I know the camera is fine, I have decided that I won't be using the Snapbridge software because of the horrible reviews in the App Store and because of the fact that it chews up battery life too fast (according to the reviews I've read).

Also, for the d3400 at least, it will only upload up to a 2mb size (too small for my purposes) and I can't use the remote control features that are available for the higher end Nikons.

So there.

This didn't work for me until I tried it several times and also removing and replacing the battery and removing my iPhone out of its Otter Case, also draine my battery once in the attempts... but persistence paid off...

Bluetooth connect problems;

1. remove sd-card from the camera

2. remove battery from the camera

3, re-install snap bridge

4. replace battery and sd-card

5. follow the connect instuctions witch snap bridge will say
