OK, I guess senility has taken over. Have a D7100, just purchased MD-DC2 cable release. I can't find where to plug this into the camera.
Can someone help out?

D7100 and MC-DC2 cable release - Where do I Plug This in?

You have an accessory socket under one of the rubber flaps on the side of your camera. That is where either a GPS or the wired remote goes.

Same port as the GPS? Thanks.
Yes. It should be the port in the lower right hand corner, just to the left of the headphone jack.
