My videos come out all fuzzy and blurry
I use manual settings and manual focus and using a 18-105mm lens and I do take a photo before video to checkand that comes out amazing but my video quality is tragic for a DSLR camerea

Getting rid of the smog might help!

The stuff in the foreground looks okay, so the fuzzy stuff in the background is either focus (which you say is fine) or haze/heat distortion.
