Do you just want an eye-fi card, to download images? Or a wireless remote to fire the shutter?

I now use dslrcontroller.com. The unit is the same one as camlink, but this way, you flash the unit yourself, and save a LOT of money. My son 3D printed a hotshoe carrier for the unit.
Overall, I very rarely use a wifi link, even the fast ones seem slow, easier to take the card out and put it into an iPad, or plug an hdmi monitor into the camera.

One thing to remember about the Eye-Fi cards in a pro body is that they don't work that well when surrounded by metal. A used WT-4 or WT-4a is probably your best bet. The D3 can use either.
Which of the three usages for WiFi is it you are after? File transfer, tethering or just a wireless radio remote? IMO, the only one worth the hassle is tethering. For file transfer, a card reader makes more sense and a cheap and cheerful ebay or aliexpress radio remote works well for controlling the shutter only.

Also, I don't see any compact flash wifi cards. I don't see an infrared remote that works with the D3, might need to use a cable.

Eye-Fi make an adapter to use their SD cards in a CF camera. It does work, sort-of, but not well in the D700 and D3.
There is no IR remote for the D3, but there are adapters to use flash remotes to trigger via the 10-pin connector.
JJC, YouPro and several others make radio triggers for the pro Nikons.
