Peter hit what I was thinking when I did the quick edit...

Not that it will help you on this (although I'm sure you could get the individuals names if you had to) but there is an app for your phone called Easy Release that you can use if you want to in the future...


I think I have it on my iPad. I at least have something similar. I was thinking more of mounting it and selling it. I just think it's a great rodeo shot. Granted I'm biased slightly

So here's another question, though on a different subject. Would I need model releases to sell this image? The riders face can't be seen, and the background people are clearly bystanders.

 

For editorial purposes you shouldn't need a release. (it never hurts to have one but sometimes it just isn't practical). The setting is public and nobody should expect privacy in such a setting.

 

If you were planning to sell this image to a company for use in advertising then, yeah, I think a release for every recognizable person would be necessary.

 

Selling as an art print would probably not require a release. (Again, it wouldn't hurt to have one).
