Sometime before midnight (whatever time zone you are in) this Sunday, 24 April 2016, post the best photo you have taken this week. Any subject, any style--just give us your best shot.

If you can, list your EXIF info and any special lighting setups you may have used.

P.S. Come play with us in the editing exercise.

Thanks, Tom! I was just jumping on the forums this morning because I realized I had spaced this thread, so I'm glad you took care of it. :)

I will start off this week with a blooming cactus which has quite a few flowers.  Took the pics this morning.

We are still out rolling around in our RV so I am going to take this opportunity where we have WiFi to get my photos in for the week...On Tuesday night, I finally got the chance to pull out my tripod and get some pix of a close to full moon while we were sitting on the deck enjoying time with several of the baseball players...I decided to try it first with my D4 and 70-200 at 200mm so these are pretty well cropped...The clouds went from none to covering the moon totally...here are a few that I liked...

On Wednesday, my son played his last home night game and I grabbed this shot during his last time batting...if you look closely you can see the ball traveling to the right of the pitcher.  Unfortunately he was out on the play, but he did have 2 hits in the game...

D4, 24-70 at 24mm, ISO 6400, f8, 1/200

Tomorrow morning we head off to West Virginia for 4 games before we head back to North Carolina for a few days at home!

I haven't posted in awhile because my computer was frustrating to deal with.  Finally fixed it and here are some photos from a wedding I attended couple weeks ago.  The wedding was at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.

At the far end of a walk up a bush valley to a dam today and when we got there I liked the look of these ducks on the dam's lake.  I also was struck by the colour of the water, caused by reflections.

D600 with Nikkor 300mm f4 PF lens.  ISO 640.  1/200th @ 5.6.  I should probably have tried to shoot it at least 1/300th sec.
