I just added them to my eBay app as a search. These little guys are going for less than $200?? My wife won't even bat an eye if I tell her I'm buying a lens for $200!

Everybody should have one. The version to look for IMO is the 105/2.5 AI because the AIS has a shallower hood and a shorter focus throw.
As i heard, the AI should have somewhat "better" rendition to than the Ai-S to. I like the compact size of the Ai-S though... and the built in hood

I never noticed any difference in how they drew when I used both in parallel, but it was definitely easier to nail the focus with the AI...
