Just joined - was Nikon for many years, then tried a Canon, but recently went back to Nikon. Purchased a new D750 w/ 24-120 lens promo deal. Love it !!

I did a LOT of research and mulling between Canon and Nikon before deciding on the D750, mainly because Nikon seems to be more 'on top of their game' in recent years. It seems like the large drop in DSLR sales due to smartphones has lit a fire under the likes of Nikon who derive a lot more of their income from camera and lens sales than Canon does. So I feel like I'm with the better innovator of the two and am absolutely loving my Nikon experience thus far. Now I just have to get used to attaching and removing lenses in the opposite direction than I've been used to for nearly 20 years ...

My first thought coming from Pentax too. Nikon put their lenses on backwards. Pentax have the release button on the other side too. It is far more ergonomically correct.
But you get used to it. I find you need to swap hands and hold the body with the left hand and lens with the right.

It's not as bad as it used to be back before AF when the focusing ring also turned in the wrong direction.

I am still not used to it. Doesn't help that my Sony system is still the other way.
