How to upload a photo from Windows Photo Gallery to here.

I have a photo of the Tillamook lighthouse in Cannon Beach, Oregon which was taken this past summer.  Yesterday my wife discovered a photo of the same lighthouse having to endure numerous storms at sea.  Okay, I downloaded the photo and it does show up in Windows Photo Gallery with this title:  lighthouse(1)JPG.  However, when I attempted to upload the photo, it does not show up in the Choose File dialogue box.  I tried entering just the words lighthouse(1) but no luck.  I am using Windows Vista Home Premium along with Chrome.  So, what I am pursuing is a before and after affect, because this photo of the lighthouse during the storm is absolutely beautiful and awesome.  I did not take the photo, but there is the name of the person who did on the lower left hand corner.  If more information is required, please feel free to ask.  I sincerely appreciate any help with this issue.  Also, the photo was downloaded in Yahoo!!
