Well you worked it out. Yeah I have been very impressed with my Sigma lenses (I have the 50-500 and the 150 Macro). Both lenses pulling some great quality shots. Not sure which is better but I will say you can't go wrong with the Sigma.

This was taken with the Sigma 50-500 and the Kenko 2x teleconverter.

I enjoy shooting almost anything.  I don't even really mind the posed shots - what I mind is having to pose the people!  I shot my son's lacrosse team this weekend and they won the tournament. The "posed" team shot at the end was basically telling them to get together for the Championship photo.  I didn't try to organize them other than to be sure they were all visible.  I think it ended up more natural.  I even posted up one of the photos where the young man next to the coach gave the coach "bunny ears" and everyone loved it because it was an in the moment thing.

Mostly I enjoy shooting natural light and trying to capture that moment...like when my wife mentioned dog treats when I was shooting the sun on the dogs looking out the window...

BTW - nothing other than a crop of the photo because it looked best as a square image...

My favourite subject to photograph is children. The faces they make, especially babies, can be priceless. I prefer natural expressions rather than forced and that is what you have with babies. Even when parents are making them laugh or giving them a toy to explore, you cannot replicate their reactions. Love it!

For about five years I drove from Verwood to Blandford across Dorset and your image brings back happy memories of the scenery I enjoyed on a route that did not have one traffic light.

I love taking shots of nature, animals or otherwise. Great landscapes too. I've recently got into street photography and love the freedome this gives you as anything goes.

If it looks good in the view finder...I'll snap it.
