I use them always, they show up to 95% clarity so make no real effect on the screen, there are expensive options however i purchase ones on ebay for £2.50 approx for a set of 6.. they are slighty thicker than thoese made for phones and really do go on easy and are worth using..

One came already attached with my D7000, I haven't taken it off. It doesn't detract from LCD viewing in the slightest.

Thanks all for your great responses! I too have had the D7100 for a few months without a protector, and was debating whether or not it was worth it. now I even know where to go to get them. Thanks again all!

I don't use them but as I change bodies avery two years, they dont really have time to scratch.
Anyway, I take really care of my material.

I have glass type screen protectors on all my cameras due to the nature of what I use them for, and they can be a little on the pricey side, but better than having to get a new screen fitted.
I get them all via e bay

I always put a GGS screen protector on my cameras. They don't cost much & seem to work well.
