How do I change this. I'm not offended, being us born, but I'm located in the UK so probably fairer on everyone else if my current location is set properly.

On dcbear's account this metatag "Country" is not present, only the location one.

dcbear: dcbear78 - Viewing Profile - NikonForums.com
However I don't know why some have this metatag and others don't. Neither do I know how to edit.

I got no flag....
Jerry doesn't have a flag or location - or he has chosen not to fill out the location...the location field is editable in your profile...I don't see an option in the profile to add, change or remove the flag...I'm sure Adam will chime in with his expert knowledge soon!

My impression is however that it is the field COUNTRY, if present in the profile, and not the field Location that triggers the flag. In my profile that field is not present; but maybe it was added for new members, when an update of the underlying database was done.

Yes, I remember selecting it when I signed up...Since I don't see it in the profile, my guess is that it is only selectable when signing up...but I'm guessing there is no reason it couldn't be made available for modification at some point in the future...

You should be able to change your county via a dropdown toward the bottom of this page:
Do you guys not see it?
