That is very sharp considering it was shot at 2.8, very nice.
I think that was just the stat on the max aperture of the lens. There is "F9.0" on the bottom line of the data, if that is accurate.

Yes , Lens is an older AF Sigma 50mm F2.8 Macro lens , I think it goes 1:1 ..
I see them on Ebay from time to time at very good prices .
